Speed tests

I just completed a speed test here and at »www.speakeasy.net/speedtest. I got 26836kbps down and 1059kbps up at speakeasy and 1/2 the DL speed here and the same upload in both places. I used San Francisco as the server in both places.

Hmmm

Any idea as to why the huge difference?

MD		 Depends on the provider.. If its comcast then I think their download speed boost does go upto 20 some megabit.. but the upload boost isnt much over a meg or so.

 I have COX. But how would that make a difference in my speeds? I I would think it would be about the same. I mean I didnt change providers between tests.

Traffic, server load, etc ... will affect your speeds tests. Try this one »test.lvcm.com/

That is about what I expect to get. I was like "NFW" at that results of that speekeasy test.
