that's how all news is nowadays. News networks merely copy and paste press-releases and call it "news".

 That's true. Most networks, websites and newspapers hardly do their own reporting now, they simply use an Associated Press (AP) article. Go to just about any site, the "news" is some regurgitated AP article, usually.
