You know what is hillarious/sad/depressing is that WMFZ, a local independant station in the Lehigh Valley went HD with their news very recently.
Just go visit their website and you will see how their station has so much less to offer than the NBC O&O affiliate in the number 4 DMA in the USA.
Not bashing WFMZ at all, I applaud them for getting HD news up and running, but as an independant station serving a mid-sized city that is part of the Philly DMA(I think), naturally they are a much smaller operation than WCAU. |

Woodbury, NJ | That is rather sad getting beat by them. They might get beat by cn8 too, as I hear they're ready to go HD soon, which ofcoarse means a valuable HD spot will goto them, instead of a channel anyone is interest in like USA HD or sci fi hd. |

Similar situation in the NYC DMA, except with Fox instead of NBC. Even CW11 (WPIX) went HD. Fox/My9 hasn't. |

The news on Fox5 and My9 in NY are not in HD but both channels do have HD programming (Fox Sports, Yankees, etc.). |
