I'm guessing you want to upgrade from Pro to Elite. This says your line can't handle the full Elite speeds as the modem is operating now: "Downstream Maxrate (Estimated): 5612".

Please post your stats from the middle table of this page: »192.168.0.1/statistics.htm . It is possible that maxrate is a low ball number because your modem isn't running at full power and the stats will help interpret that possibility.

I think your modem is running at much less than full power so that maxrate estimate is too low. 32.5 dB attenuation should be capable of Elite speeds easily.

If you can see this dev/null post before it disappears: »/forum/r204396···oreAfter , then this is a line running at full power with about 27 dB attenuation. The top graph is with a bridged tap and the bottom is after removal.

Are you using a 4100, 5100b, or a 4100b modem now? It helps to interpret the attenuation levels.

Thanks...

1) What's a bridge tap and how do I "get one"?
2) I think the modem is a 4100b (5 lights)
3) I have a homerun from the box to the modem and filters on all USED lines. Anything else I might want to look into?

thanks

If you have a home run without a splitter at the NID, then I'm going through deja vu all over again .

See this thread: »Upgrading to Elite from Pro and Distances...

You don't want a bridged tap, but your home run may acts as one. The home run without a POTS splitter at the NID makes a bridged tap and cuts off your highest tone bins. The dev/null post was a bridged tap out on the fellow's loop and not on his inside wiring.

You should test your line stats again at your NID to see if there is improvement: »AT&T Southeast Forum FAQ »How do I check modem stats, synch rates & speeds at NID - Residential Housin
