Where did you get SP3? According to XPSP3 standalone download site, MCE is not one of the required system.

Got it at windows update. And I have Windows XP SP2 installed. XP MCE is considered XP Home/Pro I believe. Correct me if I am wrong.

You might be right, if windowsupdate offered it then it must be appropriate for MCE but who knows we're talking about MS.
