My host has become unreliable. I am looking for a cheap ($50 a year) place that gives some phone support. Godaddy? |

| reply to mgaus77 Yes as Thinkdiff mentioned try. Just keep in mind there is quite a bit of self-promotion by webhosts in that forum.
Just a note, if your domain is currently registered with Godaddy, then you should definitely not use Godaddy as the webhost. It is good practice to keep your domain registrar and webhost separate. It prevents one service from being held hostage for the advantage of the other service. |

It will be created on the Mac, and maintained with Macs. |

| reply to mgaus77 I considered many other hosts before choosing 24hostingnow, but found 24hostingnow's prices to be very competitive for the services that they offered. I have found their service and support to be very professional and helpful.
So I would like to suggest 24hostingnow ........... |

They might have been impacted by The Planet datacenter fire. That's my guess -- Submit phishing to phishtracker HostMySite.com - For your hosting needs |

| If you are looking for a host with pretty high limits I would check out »www.site5.com. I have been with them for about three years. They also have a pretty active forum where you can post questions and get a reply fairly quickly. -- Admin Tips »wwww.osfanatic.com

| reply to mgaus77 I just started my business and chose hostmonster.com. I liked the price and there are no limits on disk space or bandwidth. Plus, I was able to get a human on the phone for the 2 questions I had. its a bit more than $5 a month, but, it's pretty good. |

GoDaddy Sucks - BTDT - They block ports, some Apachie features/capabilities do not work properly or at all in .htaccess, blah, blah, blah...
