Quick and easy screen shot edits

There is a program for Windows called Faststone Screen Capture »www.faststone.org/FSCaptureDetail.htm that takes quick screen shots and has tools that can quickly add stuff, such as arrows, etc.
Is there anything for OS X that can do the same.
I downloaded Seashore, which really isn't quick and easy, nor is it tied directly into the screen shot (you have to use Grab then open the program, etc.).
Does such a product exist (and is it free)?
Thanks!

Preview in Leopard has all those goodies. Just use the Annotate tool.

And to take the screenshot in the first place its

Command+Shift+3 - Full Screen
Command+Shift+4 - Selection of Screen
Command+Shift+4+Space - Selected Window

OmniDazzle highlighting, captured with cmd-shift-4
I've been using SnapZ Pro along with OmniDazzle (FlashLight, Cutout and Focal Point plugins). I prefer to use highlighting as callout rather than arrows and shapes. The screenshot I've included was captured using the Mac native cmd-shift-4 technique.

In addition to Preview you might want to checkout SnagIt and Skitch.
