I am moving to a neww house where 6.0 Xtreme is available. I currently have 3.0 service and am using a Speed Touch Home modem. Will this STH still be able to handle the 6.0 or do I need to change the modem I am using. |

| It will technically be able to handle the speed, but why? Why not get a newer modem with a built in PPP client, better chipset, and ADSL2+ capability. Call AT&T and see if you can qualify for a new modem for free. |

Call AT&T and see if you can qualify for a new modem for free. The PPP client doesn't bother me as I let the Linksys WRT54G wireless router handle that duty. But the ADSL2+ does interest me a great deal. I will call this either tonight or this weekend about the new modem. -- With hurricanes, tornados, fires out of control, mud slides, flooding, severe thunderstorms tearing up the country from one end to another, and with the threat of bird flu and terrorist attacks, are we sure this is a good time to take God out of the Pledge |
