It will technically be able to handle the speed, but why? Why not get a newer modem with a built in PPP client, better chipset, and ADSL2+ capability. Call AT&T and see if you can qualify for a new modem for free. |

But the ADSL2+ does interest me a great deal. I will call this either tonight or this weekend about the new modem.
