Series recordings fail at times

When I try to record two tv shows (Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune) there is a problem. I use the guide to access the show and then follow the menu steps t0 record the shows as a series. Over a few days only one or two shows will record. I went into the menu again and set up the series to record all shows, new and repeats. Also set it up to record all shows (no limit on the number of shows.) The scheduler still skips the episodes. I can manually select and record each episode one at a time. But in the series mode it fails.
I did a reset (powered the stb down by unplugging it) and that didn’t work.
The guide version is 5.76. I have about 15 shows set to record as a series and so far the weekly shows record ok but the daily ones fail at times.
Any thoughts and suggestions?

I've had something similar, but not as severe. The best way I found to get it to work correctly was to delete the series from the series manager and then add it back (once it took doing this twice to get it to work).

You might also want to post in the Verizon Direct forum (far right tab at the top of this forum's listings) - I've had better luck there than with VZ phone support.

I did try going into the series recording to delete and then add a series and it didn't work. I tried this one time. Will try it one or two more times to see if it works.
Then I will post on the VZ direct or call the FSC.
Thanks
