I had the Doc1.1 Toshiba PCX2500 modem... the thing stopped working today, all morning the cable link was just flashing rapidly no matter what I did.
Within 5 mins a replacement was in (live close to a store) -got a SA DPC2100R2
Everything looks good, I originally got the replacement notice early December so I guess they are phasing out the old stuff |

@rogers.com | yes, you're right - DOCSIS 1.1 is about to reried by end of Jun ( if I remember well). Your Toshiba modem and Terayon TJ615 I would concern as worst ever made modems.

| I wouldn't say the tj615 was the worst modem, but my upload was about half of what it should have been. Other than that it was pretty stable. It lasted a good 2 years, before rogers discontinued it about a month ago. Now I'm using the scientific atlanta and I"m able to reach my advertised upload speed! (express) |

| The Terajets certainly had their issues ... and usually had compatibility issues when the CMTS units were upgraded. That was why Rogers stopped distributing them shortly after getting them. There was a major upgrade and all the people with TeraJet modems were essentially offline for over a week as Terayon worked out the firmware glitch that caused them to cycle on and off line. |
