Qwest with MSN - no SMTP
I thought MSN was making SMTP available, now.
it is available actually since last year. FYI: httpDAV is going to be extinct soon.

Could be, I haven't worked with it since last October.

"httpDAV" is a hash. There is, "HTTPMail", and there is "WebDAV". MSN Hotmail used WebDAV to implement HTTPMail. This is supported in MS Outlook Express, and some flavors of MS Outlook.

Windows Live Hotmail still maintains WebDAV (and has extended support indefinitely*), but also provides support for DeltaSync, another method to implement HTTPMail.

Windows Live Mail, and the Outlook Connector plug-in (for MS Outlook 2003 and MS Outlook 2007) support DeltaSync.

Nearly as I can tell, HTTPMail using DeltaSync is intended to replace HTTPMail using WebDAV.
