Higher number in the "version" area...
Some have noticed faster scans - on XP.
This is my new Vista machine... I didn't pay attention to the scan time. Who knows!

I am always one to upgrade and will do so, although I do have a question. This super program has been running just that way, super. And, I am not running Vista. It seems that so many of the upgrades for everything are for Vista based systems, and I note that some of the fixes for this are also for Vista. Does one gain anything new if not running that OS?

On XP, mine did the same.
On Vista, no warning, it just installed overtop.

Still no mention of development on a x64 edition for XP/Vista?

Pounded right over top without issue - Vista laptop.:)
Didn't quite work that way with the free version on XP.

Is it safe to overinstall the old 4.0 without losing settings?

Also, is the update via 4.0 will be patches only for a full installer?
I just installed 4.1 and it retained all my setting while removing the old 4.0 without a reboot.

edit: If you have SAS set to check for program updates when the application starts then yes it will download updates for the program as well as patches.

[att=1]
Odd, I did that yesterday but it said no updates.
That's because the servers haven't been setup as yet, as you can see in hayc59 See Profile's post.
