EDIT: Allrite, i read the article, its very handy. It explains a lot. It seems while for processor oc is better to do it thru bios, in overclocking of video card is different-- much more secure and easier way is... software overclock. I'll go with riva. Thanks for the link.
Question is, in the article there was no mention of safe temperature range, or temperature monitoring. Can anyone tell me about it?
Everything else seems pretty clear... small raises of mhz and then checking if it works stable. When you reach the crash or artifacts, go lil bit back and you all set. Am i right?
thanks
edit2: is it ok if i would be runnin 3dmark06 to check for artifacts instead of a game everytime i raise frequencies? |

| reply to eX_NihiLo ALLRITE, i raised following:
core clock: from 513 to 600 so far shader clock: from 1188 to 1389 memory clock: 792 to 840
to me its working fine, but i am going to stop here because i dont know much about overheating in video cards. My antec 900 case is set on max, but still i dont want to mess my video card up so i'll wait for suggestions from you guys, about overheating, monitoring and such. |
