| Gear pc demo ?
does any one know of a demo , trial version , cheap as hell , gears of war for the pc ? i am cheap and i havent got alot of the old mula but i hear this game is freaking splendiferis ( yes that good ) and has a good online following but i dont want to shell out the money till i try it ( living on the ol' vet dis. so i dont have much ) and id hate to spend it if its not that great . thanks |

| There is no demo of GOW for the PC. It's a fun game, but you have to enjoy a very "console-like" experience. (No quicksaves, 3rd person only, boss battles, etc.)
If you want to see what it's like, there are plenty of gameplay videos on youtube, and maybe you could convince your local GameStop (etc.) to let you see it on the XBox. (It's really not much different on the PC, save for the controls, unless you use a gamepad.) |

WOW really ? no demos? oh well thanks for the info i guess it was a good game but i have been going over the posts and many say different so i think it might be best to just wait it out |

Brunswick, OH | Yeah, I read somewhere that, since it's been out on the consoles for a while and not really different, they didn't think they needed to make a demo. |
