wow I can't believe you stuffed so much crap in such a tiny post.
Tivos even the latest (read most expensive) series 3 is just so damn SLOW. It is by far the slowest DCT I had to deal with. Even the old 2000 series DCT seems faster. I deal with this hardware daily (though there are very FEW Tivo 3 boxes out there, wonder why if this is such a great product you claim it to be? ) |

I'm sure you'd argue your El Camino is a fine automobile as well and gets you to work just fine. |

| reply to Anonymous LOL I used a Tivo Series 3 and Tivo HD every day until I canceled all my Mediacom crap and switched to E*. Got tired of paying $10 for 5 HD channels. Either way, both worked better than the DCT 6412 III I got from Mediacom (all 3 of them, see, it broke 3 times and had to be replaced). Channel changes were faster, not to mention that I didn't lose all my recordings when Mediacom decided to hit the box randomly at night, or when the box crapped out.
But yeah, no one is buying Tivos, they're all completely happy with s&%t DVRs from the cable company that don't respond to half the buttons pressed, take about 30 seconds to start playing a show, crash continually, and don't give you the option to export video to a computer... yeah... completely happy. |
