| Can I get a second modem?
I want a second modem for a wired connection...so one computer will be on a wired, while the rest on a different router with all other stuff...
Can they send me one? If so, how much do they cost?
I might want 2, since I'm using my old 1800hg, took off it's router feature, and doubling it as a modem. |

I would renable the router feture. and yes all you have to do is get another router that is just a router and plug the wan port of it to one of the pors on the 2wire.
Pice probally ranges from 50 and up depending if you want a new one or a used one. |

it would help to understand what your trying to to do and how your setup is now you cannot connect anothe rmodem to the 2wie nor can connect 2 modems to one telephone line.., but i agree with Koma3504 , purchase an ethernet router and connect it's wan port to one of the lan ports on the 2wire... |

Get a router. I have DSL modem plus a 4-port router.
