Pvcleave, not sure I understand the first part of your response. It sounds like some sort of old Asian proverb. What did I subscribe to based on what will happen in the future? I had no idea the guide data would be this bad until I started using the service last year. I think the second part of your response is completely wrong. Why would Verizon, or any company for that matter, not try to retain their existing customer base? If they don't retain people their subscriber base will never increase no matter how many new subs they get. And I do believe they are trying to retain everyone, why else would the be in the process of adding all these new HD channels?

I agree.... and word of mouth beats any/all advertising.
So they should do their best to keep their existing customers.
