[TWC] SoCal RR a bit funky today...

Starting about 1 or 2:00 p.m. local time it all went south for me. Long delays in starting page loads, long times to finish loading. Internet radio (in iTunes) had frequent stalls. Tracert's to various locations seemed ok though, no timeouts and good ping times. It got a bit better later on, about 4:00 p.m., but went bad again soon. Not too bad now though.

Anyone else have similar experiences today?

They seem to be doing a LOT of work now on the cable network, at least here in OC... I got a letter from them a few weeks ago that at certain times in the morning (anywhere between 02:00 and 11:00 AM apperantly) I may lose signal on internet or TV.

And sure enough, I am seeing TWC vans and ladder-trucks everywhere as of late...

The letter boasts about "network upgrades" to offer us more stuff I guess.... I'm really hoping for more HDTV channels actually

maartena, more HD channels are coming next month as well as Mystro. The upgrades they are doing is to bring the plant up to 1 GHz.
