| reply to kes601 said by kes601 :said by rpjoe :ok, so then 7/31 we'll get the new lineup everyone so far has gotten and on 8/26 they'll add BIO-hd, PLANET GREEN- hd, SHO2W-hd, and 22 HBO/Cinemax hds. these are the 25 NY is getting tomorrow. edit: my guide says 7/30. some parts of NNJ will start then. That is my interpretation of it. I got a problem with that interpretation though (nothing against you). In the 100 HD Channels thread, fiosseller posted a picture of the letter/memo he was talking about and on that it clearly says NY and Northern New Jersey and at the bottom of that it says it will be reached by 7/31-8/1. I'm hoping that is correct and that enhanced channel listing for Northern NJ is a mess up on Verizon's part.
And like rpjoe, my guide also has 7/30 as when the channels are going to be moved. But like I've posted before, come this Wednesday/Thursday I will list all the HD channels that are available after the realignment.

| reply to rpjoe said by rpjoe :so let me get this straight...are we all thinking that NNJ is getting the 8/26 enhanced lineup on 7/31? that would leave the "fios tv essentials and fios tv extreme hd" pdf effective on 8/26 rather than 7/31. the same pdf lineup NY is getting tomorrow morning. Actually, I think they get the initial realignment on 7/31 and enhanced on 8/26, the lineups just have the wrong dates on the website(they are reversed). |

1 edit | reply to kes601 said by kes601 :said by UofMiamiGrad :said by kes601 :NY is getting them because of the launch of FiOS in NYC. NNJ, probably because of it's close proximity to NY would be next in line. Same VHO serves both areas, that is the reason! I thought that might have been the case, but was not certain so didn't want to post w/o knowing. Northern NJ and NY are two different VHO's but both Cablevision territory. |

I had read somewhere that the Philly area won't see the upgrade until around November. So no big 10 network for us. South Jersey is showing "The Big Ten HD network" in their 9/8 .PDF line up. |

| reply to Mark F said by Mark F : Oregon and Indiana are small pickin's compared to America's biggest city, but won't everyone, everywhere with FIOS TV, have pretty much all the same HD channels by years end? I'm fairly certain that IN and OR were also the guinea pigs. And I suspect fairly strongly that all the markets will have the same national channels by year's end (if not sooner). |
