I purchased two Plasmas from Panasonic and to get ready I was shopping for mounts. I find a nice omni mount via pricegrabber to buy.com. I was a little leary since I had 3 bad experiences in the past. So the price was for 299.99, great. I add it to my cart and it reflects the price. I try to find a smaller one for the 42 inch plasma. Can't find the one I want. Then I proceed to check out. I get a nice note that the price has changed to 200 dollars MORE WTF!
Ridiculous. I tried again still the same notice. So I empty my cart, search for it, on their site, still 299, add it to my cart, same note, price raised to 499. I go through pricegrabber again, still 299 and add to cart try to check out, same thing 499. Screw that. I am never,ever shopping at buy.com.
And before anyone asks, it was a price directly from BUY.com not one of their resellers. |

After the second time I would not even bother to look at their site again. One time maybe a mistakes happen twice forget it I am done.

Buy.com is a drop ship company. They don't have inventory. They are just the middle man.
If you don't believe me call and ask them.
I have had my own bad experiences with Buy.com
They can either be sweat or bitter. |
