Re: [ENG] What's going on??

Any idea if Videotron has any affordable options?? I've never owned a cell. I always told myself, if I really need to call, I'll find a public phone. However, last night, there was no cell phone in sight and a cell would have been pretty useful. An ''emergency phone'' for important things ( I'll be late, things like that. NOT to text with friends, if you know what I mean?

I think a cell would be pretty neat, but I'm so not familiar with those, I don't want to be fooled or anything. Sellers are paid to sell and I don't really trust them, .

As far as I know, Videotron doesn't have a pay-as-you-go option... I use Fido prepaid service 10$ per 30 days (»www.fido.ca/portal/en/packages/prepaid.shtml), but there's also Virgin Mobile Prepaid plan for 15$ per 45 days (»virginmobile.ca/vmc/en/rates/rat···?lang=en)

Those were the least expensive options I could find at the time... You just have to make sure that your phone is charged (power drains over time as with any rechargeable batteries) - and if you don't use it once in a while your phone account might be disconnected.
