But at least they would be offically aware of it, and perhaps direct some of the some of the funding intended for rural improvements to your area.

BTW satellite coverage is available in your area

 Ok....let me rephrase that. Noone that can provide a reliable, halfway useful connection that doesn't completely suck beyond all belief, serves my area. So, satellite doesn't count!
