[Free] AVG

I had AVG 7.5 installed installed installed 8.0 everything fine then I played with some new RAM hosed things up and had to reinstall old ram. With several system errors I ran a system restore back to a time when I had 7.5 installed. 7.5 will not work or uninstall now.

How to I manually remove AVG 7.5 from my system completely so I can install the new 8.0.1?

Do you still have the install file for AVG 7.5? If so, I would try running the install file and select the remove option.

Thanks for that I will try it next time. After hacking my way through the registry I reinstalled in safe mode and was able to uninstall. Thanks.
