| Seattle area gets Blast only/first in Verizon territories
Using Comcast's availability page »https://www.comcast.com/Localization/Loc···x&area=6 I checked random addresses in North (Redmond, Everett, lynnwood, Kirkland etc.) and all of them have Blast available »img156.imageshack.us/img156/9984···tsz2.jpg . Still waiting for it down south (Kent, Tukwila, Renton , Covington etc.)  |

| This is a similar pattern to what they did before for previous speed increases.
BTW While the sales page lists it, and many in these areas have reported recieve the "within 40 days" letter from CC, not all of use have recieved the Blast upgrade...YET.
For instance I get this sort of result from most speed tests
Last Result:
Download Speed: 36098 kbps (4512.3 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 3200 kbps (400 KB/sec transfer rate)
and similar speeds during extended downloads...for the first 80-258 Mbs and then the download tapers down to fairly steady 8-9Mbps, upload remains constant through out even with a 1 gig file, so I think I'm only on 8/2 so far, even though I've had the letter for a couple weeks and I'm within the listed area. (FIOS not here yet, but very close) |
