said by almahix :Aren't the DCT-700 lacking the IP capability to offer channel info and guide? Perhaps ViperNY needs the QIP boxes for that. Correct - as kes correctly said, the DCT700 is not IP enabled. And with Verizon, no IP, then there's no guide data or VOD. He'll need one of the QIP boxes to get those. |

| I am a property manager in NYC for a building that has Timewarner and RCN. Fios is being installed as we speak. My question is about my own Fios service that I got installed in Jan'08, and about one on my boxes is the DCT 700.
There are no channel, program information or guides and I was wondering if Verizon is planning to add these features to this box. The RCN service at work uses the same box and they have the guide, channel and program information working on their boxes.
