[LA] Slow speed over wireless router

I just switched from Bellsouth DSL 3.0 to Cox Preferred Package 9mpbs. Here are my setup, I connected my main computer to my new D-link wireless router with an ethernet cable and the cable modem to the wireless router. I also connected two other computers running window xp and an Imac wirelessly to the wireless router. I have excellent signal on all of those computers. However, after tweaking (changed the RWIN to 64240) I can only managed to get around 9mbps on the speed test at speakeasy.net wirelessly. But on my main computer, I can get up to 20mpbs on the speed test. Is there anyway to improve the speed on my other computers? When I was on my old Belkin wireless router, all of my computers get around 20mpbs on the speed test wirelessly. But I have to switch it out because it keeps rebooting. I have tried linksys router with the same result. Please help

Wireless Interference?

Run netstumbler.com on a windows PC, Check what channel all your the other wireless signals are on around you and choose a separate channel, then see if that helps....

Is the new router a N router?

Also you would get more suggestions here: »Wireless Networking

try registering first so you can get help here.
also, try a hard connection (Ethernet) i've had many problems with wifi and gave up on it for doing anything essential.
