| [Serious] My Uncle Jim...
Just got off the phone with my cousin's wife, and my Uncle Jim had a stroke tonight. Aunt Joan went back to her office for a few minutes, came back, and Uncle Jim couldn't talk. She called 911 and got him to the ER immediately; a CAT scan shows there is a clot in his brain. He's on major clot-busting drugs, and was able to speak a few words when Sue was over there a bit earlier this evening. I'm hoping that the quick response to the meds will let him make a complete recovery, and let him get back home where he can continue to work his crossword puzzles and monitor the front door.
I would appreciate plenty of prayers, mojo, and whatever else you all can muster. Uncle Jim is my very most favorite (and only living Uncle), and I'm just a wee bit stressed right now.
I'm going over to the hospital in the morning, to see how things are going.
