Everyone's experience concerning MJ's "come on" for expedited handling is that it doesn't affect anything. Their order ships the same day, or the next. Nothing like the scare you're presented with during the come on (up to 3 weeks). I don't get the impression they're doing anything for the money.
But, it must work. It's like those Nigerian Scam emails. People wouldn't send them if there weren't people taking the bait.
