Technically, their deal hasn't gone through, so Sprint has to do everything on their own for now in their launch- once the deal goes through the early Xohm network will be merged with Clearwire, though Sprint may keep Xohm branding on Sprint-sold services. |

BTW, it's mainly known as XOHM, not Clearwire. ClearCrap will only own part of the network and shoulder part of the associated costs/profits... |

That deal, in which Clearwire and Sprint would split the country and roam on each others networks, has been scrapped- the new plan is to merge Xohm and Clearwire into a company that will be 51% owned by Sprint- there will be no distinction between the two networks after the merger. |

The boundary layer (cladding) reflects the light along a specific path through the core.
Regardless, my main point was that the fiber optic cable (nor the fiber strand(s) inside) is not "clear". |
