Re: Remove Mobile Me Icon

Ahhh, forgot the command hold down, drag off bar trick. That took care of it. I'm not able to access the preferences under "MobileMe" since I don't subscribe. Thanks to all!

Td may have reversed his keys either on his system or in his mind when he made that post... CMD works for me as I posted above after testing

Option or CMD, cause CMD works for me.

Hold down option command, then drag it off the menubar. Works for me.

Command - Drag doesn't work? That's very odd... very odd indeed...

Did you try unchecking the "Show Status in Menu Bar" box? (Available in sys preferences) I'm assuming the icon you're talking about is the 2-arrows iSync icon? Except I'm able to drag it off with CMD+LClick

Finally broke down and purchased/installed Leopard and the MobileMe icon is in the menu bar. Is there a simple way to remove it? No apparent option in system preferences. I can't drag it off the menu bar either.
