Re: Teksavvy Web Page

The biggest push of the year so far has been a rollout of a new accounting system.

This was easily the largest upgrade we have ever done.

The bw-tracker is on hold while we wait for equipment to come in for our new SAN. Once that's up we can start putting the final pieces in place and really fix things once and for all.

Ooh, new SAN... Does this mean you'll now have the storage space to be able to do updates every 30 minutes rather than every 6 hours?

On another note, will the new accounting system allow custom discounts, so that unlimited users can now join groups? I was told that the reason my friend (Unlimited) couldn't join my group (5 premium, I believe) was that there was no way to have a $1 group discount in the old accounting system.

So instead, I get a $1 referral from him, and theoretically give that back to him each month.

The new SAN has 26 drives in it.. so it does have lots of capacity. We will have to see how it plays out.

I haven't had a look at accounting for referrals yet. It will be looked at but it's low on the list right now. It's for sure possible to do just about anything with the new setup. It's a matter of time and resources.
