My @home start page changed to a comcast one

It seems like my start page has been changed to a comcast start page? Does that meen that I have a certain ammount of time to switch my settings over to the comcast network?

It sounds like you installed their software, which changes your home page on you. That doesn't necessarily mean that you're now using their network, though.

No. Everyone was changed to a Comcast home page, the @home one went away. The DC area is scheduled to switch over to the Comcast network in the 3rd week of January.

I noticed this same thing this morning. The home page was automatically redirected (from »home.excite.com to »www.comcastpreview.net/ ) without me having to do anything.

Same thing here. Comcast has redirected to their homepage. Although it not a problem since I had no love for the excite home page, it would have been nice for Comcast to at least of e-mailed everyone ahead of time to advise.

On a related note, I have no intention of installing the Comcast software.
