Auto record telephone calls analog line

Looking to record telephone calls automatically on 4-6 analog telephone lines. Ideally something that would interface with a PC and store the recordings as .WAV or .MP3 format named with a date/time stamp plus telephone number (caller id) for the filename would be handy. This device would need to go in-line for the telephone line, not the headset line for the phone as we have several phones per line - thanks in advance.

Call Parrot on a Nortel Phone system will do that. Do you have a phone system now?

No real phone system now - just a set of Epic ET4000 phones - feature rich, but no central pbx thing. Thanks for the info - any other thoughts besides an entire phone system?

It's a board that goes in a PC and you bridge all the lines into it...the software records it and can give you a searchable web interface to it so you don't have to be on-site to download the recorded calls.

May be illegal in some states if the people being recorded are not aware they are being recorded.

This is totally passive, the users can't tell they are being recorded & there is no beep.

Uraki-
That is exactly what I was looking for - very reasonable pricing and hardware options. Looks great - thanks so much for the link!! Perfect!
