| reply to mlerner Re: BREAKING: Bell beavers call it quits
Everything old is new again. The blue "Bell" reminds me of the old logo used from the late 70s until the 90s. It's still on the many COs. |

Hmmm.... interesting. Their advertising campaign en français in Montreal's subway stations suggest things people hate, like "Miss the next train", "Be late for work", and so on... along with the same blue lines seen in the english "er" ads.
All this time I thought it was University de Montréal ad as we seen in the past. Notice their logo and curves: »www.umontreal.ca -- "I unofficially declare Beaver Hunting Season is on!" (© DR_JAYMAHDI) |

Bell to launch its new national brand tomorrow quote: "The new Bell brand underlines that we are moving forward as a company and as a service provider, with new services, a new strategy and a new goal," said George Cope, President and Chief Executive Officer of BCE and Bell Canada.
Wade Oosterman, Chief Brand Officer for Bell, and President of Bell Mobility, said the brand's combination of strength and simplicity supports the company's strategy of delivering a better customer experience at every level.
"The new Bell brand is clear, bold and instantly recognizable, and the advertising that supports it tells our customers exactly what we can and will do for them," said Mr. Oosterman. "The taglines 'Today just got better' and 'La vie est Bell' reflect our commitment as a company and as a team to deliver on our strategy and achieve our goal."

@teksavvy.com | reply to mlerner I hated those ads. The use of national symbol to sell products is cheesy. The last refuge of a scoundrel is patriotism, as the man said. |

 Bell's New Mascot |
After a long search, Bell finally find their mascot that align with their new corporate image.
They inspect your papers every where you go. They get into your surfing fun. |

@videotron.ca | reply to TilhasBB I'm sure the Linux community will appreciate the penguins. How about Micro$oft's Clippy for a new mascot? Isn't he still looking for a job? |
