Sync took 2 minutes with 2.0.1.. 35+ mins before it. That's one improvement I'm seeing so far.

Installed... First impressions things are smoother, keypad doesn't lag, scrolling the app pages is very quick, sync/backup is quicker... will see if it fixes the safari crashes.

| Ridiculous argument, even in open source they don't document everything and I for one don't care about doing a diff in a pointless attempt to figure out what was fixed. An upgrade either works or it doesn't, and I've been burned by Apple, Microsoft *and* open-source when it comes to upgrades. I'd really love to see complete release notes but it has never given me a 2nd thought to run to open-source. To each their own. |

Just found out about it.. friend IMed me about it. I was shocked. Me usually being the guy who's a feed/blog addict, on something like this, I was actually behind.. I hadn't been reading up in recent hours. Oh well. I'm downloading as we speak. I'm very pleased to hear, universally, I might add, about the speed improvements. Everywhere I look I see the word "snappy" being used. Very nice! It's going to be interesting to see what else people dig up in this update.. given the terse description by Apple, consisting only of "bug fixes", there may not be much more to expect than bug fixes, but then that's all I was hoping for anyway
There's a reason 2.1 is in the pipe, after all.

I really detest release notes absent of content however in my experience they aren't always accurate and you need to install to determine if something has been fixed, and thats true of Linux, Windows and Mac. |
