| Re: [iPhone] 2.0.1 is Out! Ridiculous argument, even in open source they don't document everything and I for one don't care about doing a diff in a pointless attempt to figure out what was fixed. An upgrade either works or it doesn't, and I've been burned by Apple, Microsoft *and* open-source when it comes to upgrades. I'd really love to see complete release notes but it has never given me a 2nd thought to run to open-source. To each their own. | |

| Just found out about it.. friend IMed me about it. I was shocked. Me usually being the guy who's a feed/blog addict, on something like this, I was actually behind.. I hadn't been reading up in recent hours. Oh well. I'm downloading as we speak. I'm very pleased to hear, universally, I might add, about the speed improvements. Everywhere I look I see the word "snappy" being used. Very nice! It's going to be interesting to see what else people dig up in this update.. given the terse description by Apple, consisting only of "bug fixes", there may not be much more to expect than bug fixes, but then that's all I was hoping for anyway

Edit: My fast response was a bit fast as some have the update. Hm, then it's Apple's servers "again" that are acting funny. Who would have thought? | |

| I hit the "install" button at some point last night.. I just checked: the backup is still in progress. Ridiculous. | It seems like almost everyone has backups that are taking hours to complete, looking at this forum, as well as macRumors. What's interesting is that my backups have never taken more than 2-3 minutes, and I have ~100 contacts, 100s of emails, 100s of calendar items, and about 15 applications.
