said by digitalfreak :I think the best thing you're going to get from any lawsuit is the ability to get out of your contract with no ETF. All the wireless carriers have a provision in their contracts that state if they change anything, you are free to leave without penalty. In essence they have a clause baked in that allows them to change anything they want, with your only recourse being to cancel without ETL. -- If history teaches us anything, it teaches that simple-minded appeasement or wishful thinking about our adversaries is folly. -Ronald Reagan-

| Thats interesting, but have we any confirmation of what they (Sprint) will actually do in practice? -- If history teaches us anything, it teaches that simple-minded appeasement or wishful thinking about our adversaries is folly. -Ronald Reagan-

In other words, they've sent us notices about the impending capping, have press releases, CEO blogged about it and the works. But when it comes down to verbally acknowledging it, they deny. When people call in to cancel, they are told there is no such thing as caps, it wont effect anyone, blah blah blah. Just don't worry about the notices. Then after the grace period is over to cancel, they start ringing everyones neck. That is my take on Sprints inner and outer works. |
