Thought I'd put up some pics maybe they will help users of the Arescom netDSL 800. BTW if your firmware is 5.3.1 it's got lots of options. Took these a while ago never uploaded them though.

password protected modem...need the password to enter
were in now choose status to see what the line sync is or configuration to mess with the settings.
get rid of the password or change it

the problem is newer versions of the Arescom 800 block access to most/all of the configuration menus. |

Can you count me in too.
Where can I get Arescom Remote Manager and username and password to get into my Arescom netDSL 800?
I would like to experiment, especially with the default subnet mask.

Perhaps the reason you are being disconnected after 30-45 minutes is that you are using or have your computer setup for VPN service. If so, disconnect the service, remove all VPN drivers and adapters and try again. If you have/had AOL service, this too may be a cause to your problem. |
