I'd 1st get a 2nd tech to open it up to verify that the fans are connected and that the system is actually clean. did they give you any documentation detailing what they did for $70??
or you can open it up yourself to see if the fans are connected or not, your call. |

| I'll swing by on Monday, I actually told him the temp of the CPU, I completely forgot to mention that there was no Fan RPM registering. I will also ask him about thermal paste.
If you folks can give me a link on how to open a laptop up that would be great, I am a noob with laptops.
The good news is that if it needs a new fan/heat sink he will not charge me for labor and he will even let me buy the fan from some where else (I already found one on Ebay) and he will install.
I am just so pissed for not doing this myself, but now I know and knowing is half the battle. I mean $70 (non refundable) just to take a can of compressed air and spray!!! Arrgghh. |
