| NEWS - HD channels added to city of Chicago line-up

On August 19 Comcast will launch 15 HD channels in the city of Chicago.
In addition to the Big Ten Network HD, this bumps the city of Chicago from 38 current HD channels to a total of 54 HD channels, beating U-Verse which only offers a total of 49 HD channels at this time.
The new channels include: Weather Channel HD on Digital HD Channel 270 which is a simulcast of the nationwide weather channel feed; FX HD on channel 267; Fox News Channel HD on Ch. 265; Bravo HD Ch. 278; CNBC HD on Ch. 266; and QVC HD on Channel 282. These will all require subscription to Digital Starter.
We also are launching Independent Film Channel HD on Ch. 280; WE HD on Ch. 281; Fuse HD on Ch. 279; Encore HD on Ch. 263; and Fox Business Network on Ch. 264.
Customers will need a subscription to Digital Classic.
We are also launching four HD channels on our Sports Entertainment Package including: NBA TV HD on Ch. 235; NHL Network HD on Ch. 234; Hallmark Movie Channel HD on 227 and Speed Channel HD on 237. |

| That's awesome!!! If only they could organize their channel lineup in a more comprehensive way. All HD Channels gathered together with no SD channels in between and also organizing the channels per theme. The Comcast Chicago lineup is too disorganized!!! |

I continue to believe that if you offer these kinds of lineups to people, Comcast will attract or retain profitable HD customers. The revenue will be much more over time than what they get from disgruntled basic subscribers with their analog sets. Where are the analog holdouts going to go? Answer....nowhere, but the HD subscriber can take their money to several providers. |
