NAT is usually a non-routable IP range Like 192.168.0.1 different from what the router sees. »en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Private_network
So if your network uses internal addresses, then NAT uses your router's real world IP to talk on the web. (Sorry if this is already obvious!)
My point is a router refers to it as WAN(Routable) and LAN(Unroutable), but rarely calls it NAT. -- Jim, VoIP since 12/2002, VOIPo 2/7/2007
