| got wave in sequim wa ??
got wave in sequim wa.. went through all the online info on there site about user agreement and what have you..
read a old post on here about them throttling bandwidth. SEEMS to be true why is that? i got 6mbps down 1 mbps up. good cable modem signal. call there techs 3 times, finally got truth from a supervisor. when you reach 2GB limit download on any one site we slow you down to 1.5mbps 1/4 of your total speed and you have to wait 24 hours to be resetted? NOW why the hell is this? comcast dont do this crap neither does qwest dsl?!?! i went with them here in sequim wa for little bit better pricing.. qwest dsl does not limit yer shit at all how can wave do it? i mean shit i could understand if they had it at a higher limit.. so now i cant download shit from newsgroups becuz they make it slow on purpose.. bullcrap.. and they wont change it.
so if i goto hulu.com and stream a movie in 480p or hd and watch the whole thing once it hits that 2gb limit ill have streaming issues..
if i download a microsoft software .iso from microsoft.com when i hit 2 gb i have to wait 6 hours at 150k down instead of 730k download speed like i pay for isnt that false advertising if they limit you to only 2gb at full speed to any one ip address then throttle you back to 1/4 of yer speed for a 24 hour period? why even sell the god dam service in the first place...?!?!
so in all actuallity your not getting what you pay for if you reach the 2gb limit on any set ip. why do they even sell service at 10mbps saying its so dam blazing fast then limit you. thats like selling me a car that can do 120 for the first 500 miles then we limit your speed on that new car to 20 miles an hour for a 24 hour period... im pissed. im canceling and getting qwest at 7mbps/896k upload ill have to due with the slower ping rate for shit but at least i get my speed 24/7...
DONT BUY WAVE!!!!!!!!!!!! |

Other than the slow speed during peak hours of course. |
