The only thing on the troubleshooting list that I did not mention that applies to my situation is that there are twoe cable company installed splitters where the coax comes in the house. One splits the 1 connection coming in to 2 and the other splits the signal to all the jacks in the house.

Columbus, OH		 Your upstream is too high. If carefully retightning connections and making sure the mode is on the first split doesn't correct it, it's time for a service call
