The only thing that will happen to your dish is after a month or two you will not be able to order PPV. They detect it's not dialing in so they send a signal to your receivers to disable PPV. The guide is downloaded from the satellite but it has no way to upload data (PPV purchases and ?maybe private viewing data?)
