Not for the Businessman

This pricing structure makes no sense. Why wouldn't you use a Blackberry and get a flat rate for data. My company ends up paying something like $64.00 a month for unlimited data (including webbrowsing) and I use it internationally (Hong Kong and Thailand just 2 weeks ago).

Which brings up an interesting issue. If the Blackberry has an "all you can eat" flat international rate, why is the iPhone metered? There are a number of stories I have seen but people who switch to the iPhone and run up major bills for international type usage that did not occur with their Blackberry.

BlackBerry deals mostly with e-mail (BIS et BES). Most of that traffic is highly compressed and become really small.

I can do over 100 e-mails in one day on my BB (BIS) and get by with under 100KB. Try doing that on a WM or iPhone.
