Re: [Xtreme] Is Dryloop DSL 6.0 Extreme any good?

I will et you know in a couple of weeks. I am scheduled for a new dry line install next week.
On their website, it said, "Overage charges may apply." They don't explain it (bandwidth overage charges) but it says it. I'll skip AT&T. Thanks for the input!

There is no usage cap.

I just got direct dsl 6.0 and have great speeds, the ordering process went smoothly, and they got my due date moved up by over a week.

It gives them an out, they can cut the cord on you if you say consistently cost them money other words your not profitable to them.

I haven't seen or heard from ATT any specific language that would indicate what they consider excessive usage.

That being the case (IMO) if Comcast has a monthly 250GB Cap then ATT could use something like it as a gauge not saying that is there number it could be 500GB.

If you are doing less than 5GB on your Cell then I wouldn't worry about ATT DSL Possible Caps.

I have SAFA DSL 6.0 and haven't had any issues from ATT regarding excessive usage, then again I do have a few lines from ATT but I still don't think it matters.

I can tell you though I have had the 3G HSI from ATT and speed was close to DSL (1.5MB) but not consistent.

For everyday browsing Cell HSI with ATT is okay.

If your a power user there is no comparison.

Your 5GB Cap on Cell HSI I have heard it has been enforced before for certain users who used 100GB.

If Bandwidth Caps are worrying you I would go with Dry-line DSL otherwise the Mobility of 3G service is definitely a plus.
