The judges decision has nothing to do with any conspiracy and worries about taking money away from lawyers. Companies throw TONS of shit like this in ToS's and EULA's all the time knowing that some day when it gets challenged they will be in trouble. Do you really think the corporate lawyers representing ATT were not aware that you can't legally revoke consumer rights through hidden clauses in contracts? They were aware of it, but in the long run it was better to save the money upfront and worry later about someone challenging them then vice versa Not everything in life that involves "big business" and "the government" is a conspiracy. -- Forum Posts:7500
