It is fast as promised...

but on DSLR I have 2 copies of the webpage, keep scrolling down and I see the second one...

kinda screwey...

At least it does better with iframe.html than Firefox does, still leaves alot to be desired

everytime I refresh a page built with iframes it displays different

It is nice and quick.

But I can't see a reason to switch from Firefox yet.

Who's running what???
XP or Vista???
I am wondering if it works smoother on one or the other or is it buggy on both???

Testing it on vista at the moment on my network seems just as fast.

also getting ready to test the flash plugin...

XP Home here.

Import went fairly well, though the order of my bookmarks was hopelessly scrambled, and a few didn't show up at all.

It hasn't crashed a tab or anything, and page rendering so far looks good.

Vista x64 ultimate. It gets my bookmarks and stuff from firefox but once you close the window, they dissapear! Poof! You have to import them again! I might uninstall and reinstall. See if that helps.

Guess it will be a while before I try it. It seems from their page. "You need a JavaScript-capable browser to download this software. Click here for instructions on how to enable JavaScript in your browser." Call me picky but don't want to enable javascript just to have to download. If this is any indication of how Chrome will work guess I'll never check it out.

No thank you
I saw no proper service listed in the services window, but did spy a GoogleUpdate process running in the background, even after closing Chrome.

Also very odd - after installing Chrome, I can no longer open IE. It crashes immediately. Not that I use IE, but that's still just not right.

It's fast...but that's about it.

It's losing a lot of points for not having Adblock, but I can't complain since it's been out a few minutes

It sure is fast .. works also with OWA (MS Outlook Web Access).

I managed to crash it once..Here is what i did

1. One of the tabs was taking up the CPU (had about 8 - 10 tabs open)
2. I killed it through task manager (since each tab is a separate process)
3. It closed all the tabs !!
4. On opening chrome again it did not remember previously opened tabs and seemed to start with no tabs!!

I don't like that there is no option to have the status bar always showing.

Lite. The only thing that works in Full Mode is IE.

You're getting OWA to work? I'm getting a watered down view, similar to what Firefox gives. The folder functions and other UI features don't work. Have you compared this to IE and you're getting the same screens? This is a big bug with the number of companies who have OWA available for employee access to e-mail from home.

This is not a bug, this is a Microsoft "feature". Full OWA access is only permitted for Internet Explorer. All other browsers have to use OWA Light. On the login screen you'll see that the OWA Light option is selected and greyed out when using any browser other than IE.
