| WebStar modem, power levels and other tabs ?
I have 4 tabs when I access the webstar modem info page at: »192.168.100.1 - SYSTEM - SIGNAL - STATUS - LOG
The only tab that gives me info is the System tab, here is the info I get:
About Your Modem This page provides the basic information about your cable modem.

Cable Modem MAC Address 00:18:
Hardware Version 2.1
Software Version v2.0.2r1256-060303

Transmit Power Level 52.0 dBmV
Cable Modem Status Operational
Any of the other tabs say: This feature is not enabled. This feature has not been enabled in your cable modem.
Please contact your data services provider for more information about this feature and its availability on the network.
To exit this page, click on the "Back" button on your browser tool bar to return to the previous page or click on the "System" link above.
Is it disabled on all TWC modems on neo.rr.com ? Any way to get other info from this modem?

1 edit | AFAIK, those SciAtl modems are locked. Don't ya just love that? Other modems such as the Motorola Surfboards and the Ambits are not locked AFAIK, so you can view most signals and other diagnostic information. BTW, the upstream power level is a little (not critical however) on the high side. If you have issues with dropped connections, you may want to contact TWC Tech Support. |
